1 Information we collect

Information you provide. We collect information you choose to submit, such as your name, email address, telephone number, communication preferences, and the contents of inquiries or feedback. For party or event inquiries, this may include your preferred date, estimated guest count, and event preferences.

A parent or guardian may provide a child’s name and age or age range when needed for a booking or participation. Please provide only requested information and do not send payment card details or sensitive medical information through a general contact form.

Payment information. Payment providers process payment details under their own privacy and security practices. We may receive transaction status, billing information, and limited payment details, such as the card type and last four digits, to manage purchases and refunds.

Information collected automatically. Our website and its service providers may collect your IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, referring pages, approximate location inferred from your IP address, and interactions with the site. Cookies and similar technologies may support website functionality, security, and the measurement described in Section 4.

2 How we use information

We use personal information to respond to questions; provide opening announcements and other communications you request; arrange and manage reservations, purchases, and events; provide customer support; maintain communication preferences and consent records; improve website performance; prevent fraud and misuse; and satisfy legal, accounting, and recordkeeping requirements.

We send promotional emails or texts in accordance with your choices and applicable law. Submitting an inquiry or accepting this policy does not by itself enroll you in promotional text messages.

3 How we share information

Service providers. We share information as needed with providers that help us operate, including website hosting and security providers, customer relationship management and communications platforms, booking and waiver providers, payment processors, and technical support providers. Depending on their role, they may receive contact information, communications and consent records, reservation details, transaction information, or website usage data to provide their services.

Legal and safety purposes. We may disclose relevant information when required by law or legal process, or when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect people, enforce our agreements, or establish or defend legal claims.

Business changes. Information may be transferred in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections and applicable law.

We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers, text messaging opt-in data, or consent records with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide this information to vendors that help deliver and support our messaging program, and disclose it when legally required.

4 Cookies and advertising

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies may include pixels and local storage. Essential technologies help the website function and protect it from misuse. If enabled, analytics technologies help us understand how visitors use the site.

[BEFORE PUBLICATION: State whether analytics or advertising tools are active, identify the providers and purposes, and insert the actual cookie preference or opt-out method. If advertising pixels or audience uploads disclose identifiers, website activity, or other data to advertising platforms, disclose those categories and whether the activity constitutes targeted advertising or a sale or sharing under applicable law. If there is no sale or targeted advertising, state that only after verification.]

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect website features. Browser settings alone may not stop all other forms of data collection or advertising-related sharing. Where required by applicable law, we honor recognized universal opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for the processing to which they apply.

5 Email and text messaging choices

Email. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. We may still send necessary service messages about an inquiry, reservation, purchase, or account.

Text messages. If you separately opt in, we may send updates or promotional texts, including messages sent using automated technology. Consent to promotional texts is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help, or contact us using Section 11. After opting out, you may receive a confirmation message. Any separate messaging terms presented at enrollment also apply.

6 Children and family information

Although RC World is a family destination, our online forms, marketing signups, reservations, and purchases are intended to be completed by adults. Children under 13 should not submit personal information directly through these services. Parents and guardians should use their own contact information.

When a parent or guardian provides information about a child to arrange a visit, party, or participation, we use that information for the requested service, safety, and related recordkeeping. We do not use that information to send marketing directly to the child. We obtain parental authorization or consent where required by applicable law.

If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information directly without appropriate parental consent, contact us using Section 11. We will investigate and delete the information or take other steps required by law. A parent or guardian may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information about their child, subject to verification and applicable retention requirements.

This Privacy Policy does not grant permission to use a child’s photograph, video, or likeness in promotional materials. Any promotional use requiring permission will be addressed through a separate authorization.

7 Retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, maintaining required transaction and consent records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information, why it was collected, and applicable requirements. We may retain limited suppression records to honor marketing opt-outs.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8 Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply to RC World, you may have rights to confirm whether we process your personal information, access and obtain a portable copy of it, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, and opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling with legal or similarly significant effects. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.

We may verify your identity and, when applicable, a representative’s authority. Please do not send sensitive identity documents unless we request them through an appropriate channel.

We respond within the time required by applicable law. If the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act applies to your request, we generally respond within 45 days; a permitted extension of up to 45 additional days may apply, with notice and an explanation. If we decline a request, you may appeal by contacting us with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject or heading. We will respond to a Texas appeal within 60 days.
